AOS specializes in contemporary and modern styles, however we are well versed in all types of design. Past projects include custom built homes, remodels, creative work studios, public spaces and set design for TV and film. We manage your entire project including remodeling, custom window treatments, lighting design, budgeting, space-planning, real estate staging and procurement of art and furnishings. Company founder, Jennifer Aos, studied fine art at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and also studied music before entering the field of interior design. She had a decade long career in the luxury furniture, fashion and art industry at Brunschwig & Fils, Cantoni and International Market Square before launching her interior design business in 2004. Her influences include John Lautner, Frank Lloyd Wright, Philippe Starck, Kelley Wearstler and Candice Olson. Jennifer lived in Los Angeles for 10 years before moving back to San Diego in 2019 and works in both cities. In her leisure time, she enjoys creating art, hiking, yoga, dancing, music, wine tasting and a vegan, plant-based lifestyle. Jennifer is also a LEED designer and was voted Top Interior Designer in Los Angeles by Next Influencer, June 2021.
